JOSEPH CAMPBELL: “If you follow your bliss, you put yourself on a kind of track that has been there all the while, waiting for you, and the life that you ought to be living is the one you are living. Wherever you are -- if you are following your bliss, you are enjoying that refreshment, that life within you, all the time.” That “life within you” is referred to as “I Am” in How It Works. It is also the spiritual being that is having your human experience.
Facts don’t matter or mean anything. Truth is what matters. A fact is that I happen to have a Pilot’s License that I earned December 22, 1966. The truth is that “I Am” an aviator. I was an aviator long before 1966. There are 33 seats on a DC-3 and several times on Piedmont flights between Dayton, Ohio and Jacksonville, North Carolina (mountains, weather backed up against them, thermals, updrafts and downdrafts, many stops with grass runways) in 1951, 32 people were air sick, throwing up and had green complexions while one three year old toe head little boy went up and down the isle handing out chewing gum and sick sacks grinning from ear to ear. The “toe head” was at home and completely comfortable in the air. The truth is that he was, and is an aviator. The “toe head’s” bliss is flying.
The facts are, there isn’t very much money in my bank account and I don’t own an airplane right now. The truth is that I am following my bliss and going to Oshkosh. http://www.eaaapps.org/presenterinfo.aspx?id=877 The energy has already begun to flow and is going to refresh and enrich all of us who are connected. There is going to be a lot of spiritual awakening, growth, evolution and healing.
I am Deaf (capital "D" - culturally Deaf. Sarah, in the movie is Deaf. I happen to have some residual hearing, use hearing aids, and have good oral skills. Sarah does none of that. The movie is about hearing people not accepting who she really is, wanting her to do those things, expecting her to do them, valuing her according to her ability to perform them, and manipulating her into performing them. You may have seen the movie, but not through the eyes of a Deaf person.
